About

Our Mission

The Fall River Scholarship Foundation provides financial resources for students from Fall River, Massachusetts, to attend a college of their choice. Scholarships are available to all deserving students in any of their four years of higher education. Scholarships are awarded based on need, academic standing, and the student’s ability to express career objectives in an essay.

Our Funding

Our resources come from our community. Donations of all sizes from generous individuals provide an important part of our funding.

The yearly Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair brings together more than 200 artisans and crafters from throughout New England and several thousand visitors each year. Booth fees, sales of refreshments, and donations directly support our scholarships.

Every year the Foundation publishes a historical calendar that showcases the rich history of Fall River as it existed nearly one hundred years ago. The sale of these calendars in stores throughout the city adds to our revenues.
